They are filming some sort of commercial or, dare I say movie? on my corner. I walked past hoping they would see me and say "Hey young lady, how would you like your big break?" but that didn't happen. : ) OH well. I guess I'll stick to music making. As jen mentioned in her last post the album is just about finished! This is very exciting for us. Now we need some cover photos....so if anyone knows a good photographer drop us an email! Right now my favorite song on the record so far is called "distraction", but I haven't listened to anything mixed yet so that may change. This time in the studio things felt a lot better. I think we were more focused and really driven to make the best music we know how. Good times. I have a lot of it on video, but I ran out of room on the computer and need a hard drive. SO, once that happens THEN i'll post some clips.
It's cold here. Really cold.Like, I'm wearing a sweater and have the heat on cold. A few days ago it was scorching.Tank tops, flip flops, I was debating cutting off some jeans and making shorts. I loved it. Except when I saw a man pumping gas wearing only a g-string. That was not hot and I didn't know how to react. It was pretty gross.
We are still debating the title of the album and the arrangement of the tracks. We'll post all this once we figure that out!

remember. Dont pump gas while wearing a g-string!

So, this past weekend we basically finished tracking the album! We might have one more day of "icing on the cake" type of overdubs, but the goods are there, and boy are we excited! I am so overwhelmed with what we have created. I'm definitely more proud of this project than anything I've ever been involved in. Aja and I were driving home late late Friday night with a bassless, rough mix of one the new songs, and we both totally choked up listening to it! I'm so sorry this recording process is taking so long, but promise it will be worth the
wait. Promise promise.
In other news, it seems that public drunkenness is all the rage in San Francisco. I am not participating in this trend, although part of my current professional station in life is babysitting these nimrods. It's quite entertaining, albeit pretty annoying most of the time. In
case you are drunk and thinking of asking/arguing, the answer is "No, you cannot have a towel for the pool."
Lastly, we just got tickets to go see Eisley on MY BIRTHDAY, which is close to the best news ever. I'm having a pretty good day :) Hope you are too.
